Dude. I had been on and off again trying to see if you were still making music. Been following since the Wahnsinn days but saw you closed that account awhile back. Asylum is still one of my favorite songs to this day!

This song is amazing. Going to be giving your album and the rest of your songs a listen to now. Keep on making amazing songs!

So this is my (I forgot Newgrounds existed for 2 years and let me catch up on musicians that I followed) checkup. Glad to see you are still shredding good sir. Keep up the amazing work!

Metaljonus responds:

Welcome back, dude! I just started posting a fuck ton again. I don't get shit to do so I might as well post it all on here and like youtube and Bandcamp lol. Check out the newer stuff I've been putting out aside from these recent game tunes. I hope you dig em!

I fucking dig it dude!!!!

Out of curiosity would you be willing to throw a instrumental version my way? I've been wanting to try and record vocals for something for awhile now and I would like to give this song a shot if you're okay with it

Keep it metal as always \m/

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks dude! And sorry man I worked pretty hard on this one and don't really wanna give it out willy nilly lol. Sorry dude! \m/

How can you go from some the most metal riffs to throwing such tasty melodic awesomeness at my face? HOW!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Anyways good shit man haha keep it metal \m/

Metaljonus responds:

I dunno!!!! haha thanks for listening!

Not to bad man.

One thing that I feel could be improved on are the drums, At times they seem disinteresting and it just was monotonous (I'm a drummer so I notice those things haha) Don't always resort to just double bass, add some unique patterns in there that makes the rhythm really pump

I also felt like the song didn't have its own Identity. You have some solid sections but each of them could be expanded upon to create a unique song for each part. That's what I recommend anyways for a multi-piece song

But all in all solid riffage and progressive feel. Keep it metal \m/

Zero1996 responds:

Thanks! Your for sure right on the drums being improved. I am also a drummer, however I can't drum to my own stuff, (It kills me to use programmed drums.) and I really have a hard time programing my own so I hope it will get better with time.

That's what I was hoping to do with it. I made a "Hindenburg part II" or whatever but it was all over the place and not very cohesive. So I'll have to try again. :D

I do feel that riffage is my strong point thanks. XD

Well if John Petrucci ever decides to leave DT... I think we all know the Jon that should replace him haha

Amzing track as always and keep it metal man \m/

Metaljonus responds:

If Petrucci ever left DT I would kill myself!!! lol Thanks for listening dude! :D

Beautiful. I was trying to place who you sounded like but someone before me did. The song feels so much like a Jeff Loomis song its not even funny hah, and the tone has a very Petrucci like vibe to it. The progression is amazing.

Overall this (to me) is the best song you have made in a very long time. Keep it metal man \m/

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks dude! I love loomis and petrucci. Two beastly guitarist!

Right when Pikachu came in, I had the biggest grin on my face.

Well done good sir. Keep it metal \m/

PirateCrab responds:

So did I, never did I expect pikachu to do guest vocals on my track!

Thanks dude, keep listening for more to come! :)

The progression and everything sounds good, They only thing I can complain about is the bass. It seems like it's mixed WAY to high at some points. I usually have to listen to the backdrop of a song to pick up the bass but I feel likes It overpower's the backing guitar and a little bit on the drums like from 0:34 to 0:49.

Tone that down quite a bit and turn up the volume on the rhythm a bit and I think it will sound a lot better

Very nice dude. The mix sounds pretty awesome. The only thing I would do is up the leads in the main chorus section just a wee bit, as well as the keyboard part as well.

But I'm liking the addition to that epic metal side that loved so much from some of your previous works. and the section from 3:02 to 4:05 I could imagine in a really heavy Dream Theater song

Keep it metal man!!! \m/

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks! I love me some Dream Theater but wish I had a keyboard player so we can do some wicked duel shreddy stuff. I can only dream.....theater! lol

Drummer and overall metal fanatic!
